web design process

How does it all work? Here's the play by play:

Phase 1: Pre Design

Place your deposit and get your design start date. Click here to contact us before you sign up. Each design spot is reserved on a first come, first served basis by who gets their payment in first.

Once we have your deposit, we'll be ready to get started on prepping you to load your content. You'll need to put together an outline for your pages/categories, send that over to us and we'll help you draft it. Also organize your photos and content, get it all ready in advance to help expedite the process.

When we have all of this, we'll set you up with your first tutorial. You'll need about 2 hours on the phone and to make sure your schedule is clear for a few weeks so that you can devote your time to really working on your content entry.

Phase 2: Art/Layout Design

This Phase is kicked off by your second payment. Once we get to you in the list, we'll ask you for your Phase2 Questionnaire for and insight into your inspiration. We start with your logo, then move into the framework, then the content layouts (item detail page, category, etc)

Once the graphics/layouts are approved, final payment is made which releases all images to you, copyright and intellectual property and all. This also kicks off the next step...

Phase 3: Installation

Our resident ninja programmers will get cracking...turning the art that we've created into a working website. We'll also be working on your printable items at this time, web banners, home page and blog (one of the last things we do), customizing your invoices and newsletter, and the likes. You'll also have your 2nd tutorial during this time to teach you the administrative functionality of your website.

Once we have all of this completed, we're ready to launch when you are! We'll post about you on our blog, on our site, and ask you to join our client network.
